Challenge

Biocartis needed a solution in which they could maintain all their Sales activities because these were stored in different places. These activities included being able to capture information for segmentation purposes, capture visit reports, quoting and the use of quote templates. From a service perspective a solution was needed in order to handle cases at a faster rate, get a better overview of interventions to be performed & scheduled at the customer site and decrease the time to return devices to the store/ send replacements. Time saving activities have a high priority at Biocartis.

Solution

To support the Sales and Support activities of Biocartis in this rapid changing environment we designed an all-round CRM solution by integrating Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud & Field Service Cloud from Salesforce. By doing so all the information is now stored in Salesforce where Sales reps can perform all their Sales activities without using spread sheets, Customer Support users receive a 360 degree view of their Customers and are able to respond much faster. In order to give Sales representatives the ability to work from their smartphones, the Salesforce 1 app solution was designed. Next to this we also set up the Field Service Mobile Application so that service engineers on the road receive a notification when a Service Appointment is assigned to them. This application gives them also the ability to work offline and sync their changes after a Service appointment has been completed.
